Establishment of regular authorities of the University

Regular University authorities, like, faculties of veterinary science and dairy technology, Board of Studies in 18 disciplines, Research Council, Extension Councils, Advisory Councils to the Deans of the constituent colleges, Works Committee, Students Welfare Committee and others, were formulated as per provisions in the statutes This enabled smooth conduct of teaching, research and extension education activities in various faculties and constituent colleges of the University. The important milestones in the establishment of regular bodies are –

• Dean’s Committee - 28^th October 2001

• Standing Committee for Budget - 21^st December 2001

• Constitution of Faculties - 20^th June 2002

• Board of Examination - 17^th July 2002

• Research Council - 20^th July 2002

• Extension Education Council - 20^th July 2002

• Employee Welfare Committee - 19^th September 2002

• Library Information Centre Committee - 19^th September 2002

• Student’s Welfare Committee - 14^th October 2002

• Board of Studies - 3^rd April 2003
