Dr. A.T. Sherikar - MAFSU [Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University]
Introduction
The University is formally known as Maharashtra Animal
and Fishery Sciences University and is located at Seminary Hills, Nagpur-6,
Maharashtra, India. It is the first Veterinary University of Maharashtra State and all the Veterinary and Fishery institutions in the State (such as Veterinary
& Fishery Colleges) come under its jurisdiction.
Under this University, with Head Quarters at Nagpur, there are five Veterinary Colleges (largest in any University), six Dairy Science / Technology colleges and one Fishery Sciences College. Five Research Stations are attached to the University.
